Job Description
We are currently looking for an organised and passionate Commercial Operations Coordinator to join our Commercial Team on a full time, permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Southbank Centre’s dynamic Commercial Team as we gear up for a vibrant season of Summer and Winter activity.
As Commercial Operations Coordinator, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the Commercial team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you’ll be involved in everything from managing contracts and trader communications to supporting the set-up of our weekly and seasonal markets.
You’ll also help shape our food and drinks offer by assisting with the recruitment of exciting new traders and supporting marketing and promotional activity across events.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of commercial operations, including admin, contracting, and coordination with the Finance team.
- Assisting in sourcing and onboarding food and drink pop-ups and market traders, and helping with the market set-up on Friday mornings in line with Health & Safety standards.
- Managing the trader enquiry inbox and liaising with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Contributing to the food market and pop-ups marketing and press activity.
- Providing general project support, including scheduling, research, and system updates via Artifax.
Key Skills:
- Experience in operational environments, with an understanding of Health & Safety or facilities (hospitality experience is a bonus).
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage tasks accurately and meet multiple deadlines.
- Confidence in communicating and building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- A collaborative, flexible approach and willingness to occasionally work outside of standard hours (TOIL provided).
